Black Creek News - while we have been harvesting the grain the King of Terror has been harvesting among us. We had two funerals last week, two of our most estimable citizens, James McClamrock and John Cowen. The funeral were both well-attended notwithstanding the busy season. Indeed, that of our young friend Jim McClamrock was one of the grandest and most magnificent affair so fthe kind we ever witnessed. The procession was some 3/4 of a mile long. All honor is due Will McClamrock for shedding off his cloth and linen collar and coming to the country to harvest his dead brother's cup of wheat - 50 acres.
